Traditions and Teachers

​

We all come into this world with soul connections to ancestral traditions—a tie to the  “original peoples.” Some of us are born into the culture of those soul connections, others of us have been born in places and cultures that do not reflect what our soul yearns for and knows. 

 

I was blessed to have found teachers in this lifetime who helped me connect with the traditions of my soul—or my tonalli, as the Huichol people call it. Some of these traditions involve apprenticeship, pilgrimage, ceremony and ritual to deepen the connection and bring the soul’s gifts alive.

 

I am deeply grateful to the ancestors who have walked before me—these teachers who have helped me reconnect with my soul’s truth and the work I was meant to do in this world.
